The horns of a Texas Longhorn bull can reach a length of more than 1.20 metres. Global Home: Worldwide
Worldwide Primary Habitat: Domesticated
The most distinctive feature of the Texas Longhorns is, as the name suggests, the long horns that are curved to the fore. These can reach a length of up to 2 metres. This breed was threatened with extinction around the 1920s. Today, it is kept in Texas mostly because of its lean meat.
